Some writing prompts from the great ten minute plays of this year’s PULL Festival:

  • A man who monologues through getting attacked.
  • A piece from the perspective of someone falsely accused of a crime. In the piece, the person gradually adopts the personality of someone who actually WOULD have had committed the crime.
  • Superheroes!
  • Frantic, unrealistic hope.
  • The difference between me and ____. Or, what ____ and I have in common.
  • Choose something ugly, and find someone who finds it beautiful.
  • Take a minor villain, and turn them into a major one.

You are too late to see the shows, but not too late to be inspired. 🙂

Cheers,
Andrew Wade
